๐ a safe space where you can be your true self. You can let it all out. The ugly cry, the real and raw emotions, the rage, the sadness, and the if I don't laugh I'll go crazy. It's all welcomed.
โจ a place where being vulnerable is embraced. I got ya though! I get it, that shit can be real scary sometimes and it's hard to be vulnerable with someone new. I'm not here to push you, I'm here to sit with you, in your vulnerability. No matter the size.
๐ผ together we'll walk through your birth story in a guided way, that will bring transformation, insights, clarity, healing and peace.

In summary, no, it is not necessary to have your notes from the hospital or your care provider for the birth debrief sessions. The focus of our sessions is on creating a supportive space for you to explore and process your birth story, and the sessions can proceed without the need for these documents. If, however, you have a strong preference or specific questions related to your hospital notes, we can discuss it during the session or guide you on how to obtain them if necessary.
DO I NEED MY NOTES FROM THE HOSPITAL OR MY CARE PROVIDER?
No, it is never too late for a birth debrief session. Whether your birthing experience occurred recently or even several years ago, a birth debrief session can provide valuable support and healing. The emotional impact of a challenging or traumatic birth can linger, and addressing it at any point is essential for your well-being. The healing journey is unique to each individual, and a birth debrief session offers a dedicated space to explore, understand, and navigate the emotions tied to your birthing experience, regardless of the timeframe. Your story matters, and it's never too late to embark on a path towards healing and empowerment through a birth debrief session.
IS IT TOO LATE?
Birth debrief appointments are flexible to accommodate your preferences. You have the option to choose between the convenience of online sessions via Zoom or the comfort of face-to-face appointments at the GBM clinics in Moonee Ponds and Altona North. Whether you prefer the accessibility of virtual sessions or the personalised interaction of in-person appointments, the goal is to provide a supportive and comfortable environment for your birth debriefing experience.
With over 15 years of experience as a midwife and private midwife for the past 3, a background as a trained perinatal mental health midwife, and expertise as a life and pregnancy coach, I bring a wealth of knowledge and support to birth debrief sessions. My extensive experience includes working one-on-one with women throughout the pregnancy-to-postpartum journey. As a matrescence facilitator, I am committed to understanding and nurturing the transformative process of motherhood. I have undertaken training with Pam England and her teachings on Birth Story Medicine. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and empowering space for women to navigate and heal from their birthing experiences.
WHERE ARE THE BIRTH DEBRIEF APPOINTMENTS DONE?
what is your experience in offering birth debriefs?
Birth debriefing is for any individual, particularly mothers, who have undergone a challenging or traumatic birth experience and seeks a supportive space to process, understand, and heal from the emotional impact of their birthing journey. It is designed for those who desire to unravel the complexities of their birth story, address lingering questions, and to discover peace and embrace healing.
